    Publicmutualonline.com.my is a web site which provides online services comprising online enquiries and transactions to Public Mutual customers.


  2. What are the operational hours of publicmutualonline.com.my?
    Publicmutualonline.com.my is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    However, online investments are subject to availability of e-banking services.


  3. How do I register for Public Mutual Online Services?
    a) You can complete the Public Mutual Online Services application form and submit personally at our Customer Service Centers / branches nationwide or submit via your servicing unit trust consultant

    b) Apply online via Public Mutual Kiosk at :

       - Customer Service Centre in 1 Utama Shopping Centre

       - Gurney Plaza, Penang
          Lot 170-01-K6, Level 1

       - Sutera Mall, Johor Bahru
          Lot L1-212C, Level 1

    c) Apply online via PBeBank.com (for PBe registered users)

    d) Apply via PBB ATM (for Public Bank ATM Cardholders)


  4. Who can access Public Mutual Online Services?
    Individual unitholders of Public Mutual who register for Public Mutual Online could access the services. Access is given only to First Registered Holders of an account.

  6. How do I terminate my Public Mutual Online Services?
    You may submit a copy of the termination form to Public Mutual HQ or any of its branches.


  7. Can I access Public Mutual Online Services outside of Malaysia?
    You can access to Public Mutual Online Services outside of Malaysia to view information and perform transactions provided you have a local mobile phone access to international call roaming service (for receipt of PAC) and Malaysian bank account under the FPX MEPS network (for investment transactions).


  8. Is Public Mutual Online Services secure?
    Public Mutual is committed to high standards of security and confidentiality. We have put in place an industrial strength security framework to ensure that you can use Public Mutual Online Services with full confidence.
    All your information transmitted over the Internet is encrypted using the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to ensure confidentiality and data integrity. This strong encryption prevents eavesdropping and unauthorized alterations to the information that you transmitted.
    To access Public Mutual Online Services, you will be required to use User ID and Password which will only be known to you.


  9. What do I need to protect my computer when I use the Internet for Public Mutual Online Services?
    When using Internet, it is best that your computer is well equipped with Anti Virus software or personal firewall to prevent any illegal hijack attempt by unauthorised party / parties.


  10. Can I access Public Mutual Online Services using a public computer?

    You should clear your cache memory to improve your browser performance.


  12. Why do I experience a slow response while accessing Public Mutual Online Services?
    There are many reasons for the slow performance and these are the 3 major factors;
      a) You are not using the recommended browser.
      b) Your Internet Service Provider (ISP), Local Area Network or our system have congestion issue.
      c) Your computer could be infected with malicious programs, rootkit or viruses / spywares.


  13. Do I need to clear cache memory after I have finished my Public Mutual Online Services session?
    Yes, as an added privacy measure, you should clear your cache (information stored in your computer memory) after each online transaction session. This is to prevent others from viewing confidential transactional information done over PublicMutualOnline.com.my

    For Internet Explorer 7:
    (a) Select "Tools" in the Internet Explorer bar.
    (b) Choose General.
    (c) Click on "Delete" button under Browsing history
    (d) Click on "Delete files..." button under Temporary Internet Files
    (e) Click on "Delete cookies..." button under Cookies
    (f) Close your Internet Explorer

    For Internet Explorer 6:
    (a) Select "Tools" in the Internet Explorer bar.
    (b) Choose General.
    (c) Select Delete Files and check on the box "Delete all offline content"
    (d) Click Ok at the bottom.
    (e) Close your Internet Explorer.

    For Netscape 8 above or Mozilla Firefox:
    (a) Select "Tools" in the Netscape/ Mozilla Firefox bar.
    (b) Choose Privacy.
    (c) Click Clear button in the Cache section content
    (d) Click OK at the bottom.
    (e) Close your Netscape/ Mozilla Firefox.


  14. What happens if my computer crashes or I get disconnected from the Internet by accident?
    If you are in the middle of a transaction when the crash or disconnection happened you should:
    a) Reboot and connect your computer or use another computer to login into your account, and check if any pending transaction or
    b) Contact our Customer Service for further assistance


  15. What will happen if I forget to log out or leave my computer idle for a period of time?
    It will logout within 15 Minutes


  16. Do I need to update my latest contact number often?
    Yes, especially your mobile number where you need to receive PAC via SMS service to perform any transactions or updates.


  17. If I have a Public Mutual Online account, could I still submit requests for transactions through your branches?
    Yes, all requests could be submitted to Public Mutual HQ or any of its branches. For more information please call our Customer Service at 03- 6207 5000.


  18. How to disable pop-up blocker?
    For Internet Explorer 9, 10 & 11:
    1. Click the "Tools" icons (this looks like a gear) and then choose "Internet options."

     
    2. Click the "Privacy" tab. Under the Pop-up Blocker section, un-tick the "Turn on Pop-up Blocker". Click the "Apply" button, and then click "OK" to close the dialog box.
